J Balvin

José Alvaro Osorio Balvin

 
 
José Alvaro Osorio Balvin, who is known as J Balvin is urban music singer born in Colombia. During high school in Medellin was part of rock bands. He traveled to America in a cultural exchange. He learned English and met hip hop style causing a resounding turnaround in his relations with music.
 
He was in the seventh semester of International Business at the University Eafit, when he left his studies and devoted himself entirely to be a musician, beginning his professional career in 2008.
 
J Balvin shared the stage with known American rapper 50 Cent. He participated in the festival Flushing New York in 2007 and 2008. Over time, evolves also playing bachata, salsa and bolero.
 
In 2009 he released "Real", his debut album; CD + DVD contains classic songs of the Colombian urban genre.
 
The October 29, 2013 goes on sale "The Family", a new album, which "Sola", "I told you so" and "6:00 a.m." as broadcast cuts emerge.
 
In July 2014 involved the simple "Mischief" Nicky Jam, along with Archangel, De La Ghetto and Zion.
 
In January 2015 opens the remix of "Oh Come," where they collaborate Nicky Jam and French Montana. In February it comes out the single "Stuck on a Feeling" Prince Royce, which collaborates J Balvin.
